Ceilidh band Cornfield
Perambulation was
formed
in 1979 from the
"survivors" of Muggins
Fancy (Pete Hall - leader
and melodeon player,
John Hayley - concertina,
Jeff Parton - banjo and
Dave Boulton - bass guitar)
along
with Derek Morris
(trombone), Dave Rutter
(drums) and Denzil Dudley
(caller). Cornfield's album
"Designer Stubble" included
"The Aardvark Song", the first
song Dave
and Jeff wrote
together.
